Job Description – Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and automated test suites covering both API and UI layers
• Participate in sprint ceremonies – grooming, planning, estimation, and early test design.
• Review, refactor, and optimize existing automation to improve reusability, maintainability, and coverage.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and business analysts to ensure high-quality releases.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in any scripting languages
• Strong hands-on experience in API test automation (scripts + validations).
• Experience with Git, CI pipelines, and debugging automation issues.
• Experience with Robot Framework will be an added advantage

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented with good analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Must have a positive mindset and attitude towards work.
• Takes initiatives, ownership and responsibilities to help the managers.
